Alicia Shay was a community leader and union activist in Berkeley Springs before the Great War.
Background[]
In addition to her community outreach efforts, Alicia was a frequent contributor to the Charleston Herald, publishing several exposes in the newspaper. At some point in the 2070s, she was found dead in her bathroom by her 13-year-old daughter. It was officially ruled a suicide, but the Berkeley Springs community reacted with anguish and outrage, claiming that a break-in had occurred and she was murdered.
Four nights after Alicia's death, Flavia Stabo broke into the crime scene and found signs of a struggle. She also interviewed Page Rockwell from the Herald, who said that Alicia was close to sending them a "bombshell." All of this led Flavia to determine that Alicia had been silenced by the government as part of a larger conspiracy.[1][2]
Appearances[]
Alicia Shay is mentioned only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Wastelanders update.
