Trading wine for parts is a cultural reference to the M*A*S*H episode Out of Gas. The 8063rd is mentioned repeatedly as a related unit of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (the main setting for the series), while Klinger is Maxwell Q. Klinger.
