Survey Flag[]
Hey there Sagessylu,
I just saw you flagged my survey post as "advertisement". So I wanted to ask, why is that? I would say I did not advertise anything, I just posted a survey where people have to check if they would like to have their own Minecraft world 3D-printed or not. I believe this is not a big thing for most people but it would help me out a lot.

- Advertising is "the activity of making products or services known". While asking to fill a survey is not exactly advertising (still not wiki-related though), the whole rest of your comment (the startup thing, with price estimations, the part where you say you need this to get a fund, etc.) definitely falls under the category of self promotion/advertising. - Ok, basiclly I just wanted to give a little backstory to be more relateable. Would it be okay if I just cut out all the stuff and leave the survey in or is that too "unrelated" in itself (but if a survey about minecraft is not, what is? :D). Is there a place on the Minecraft Wiki where I could ask other players for help for this survey? Cheers, Ys04

- Well, basically the talk pages on this wiki are only for discussion about this wiki. Your survey would be more welcome on a website like minecraftforum.net for example. Also, on a softer side note, I'm not sure that lots of people will be motivated enough to ask you to 3D-print one of their builds, but why not? ;) Sagessylu (discuss | edits) 12:27, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
