Portal traping may be useful.[]
Maybe runner may block portal from inside. In that scenario runner will have to suicide by thirst (jumping and jumping).
But hunter may too, then hunters may untrap him by using portal 1000 block away or by killing the dragon
(not sure, cos runner may respawn the dragon, but it makes easier to kill the runner,
for example when killing ghast for their tears, endermans for eyes, and blases for powder.
