First of all sign your posts, second of all next time you make a page put as much info in it as possible. Don't have a page just for a video. I also think this page breaks rule 3. Jtlcr777 01:19, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

The Dresser[]

How the heck to you stack chests on top of each other? --Atsumete 20:23, 14 April 2012 (UTC)

Maybe you have to use pistons?IDK then just a quick answer!--ChaosThePerfect 21:20, 16 June 2012 (UTC)

No you place a chest then to place the next chest you don't right click the first chest.Use a wall. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.18.250.216 (talk) at 02:24, 19 June 2012 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

just something i wanted to add[]

put it in to http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Furniture#Misc. just running this by some one before i put it up since my spelling is terrible and i need some one to check for grammar errors for me... here it is.

... also where would i put a screen shot of it?

sorry if this isn't where this should go im still new at this.

--Water Spigot--

use this if your making a outside enclosure for your farm animals. it looks nice and is refillable with rain water.

first put a 3x3 base of cobble. then a cobble fence post in top of the middle cobble. Then a lever and Tripwire Hook on opposite sides with a Cauldron under the Tripwire Hook, and there you go a sort of working water spigot. Cody 1 9 9 3 18:42, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

You absolutely don't need to have your spelling and grammar perfect before you make a contribution to an article. As long as it's readable enough that someone can come along and clean it up a bit later, it's totally fine. It's more important that you get your contribution in (before you forget about it or something). This seems like an excellent addition to this tutorial and I encourage you to go ahead and try your hand at editing by adding it.
You can add an image by using the special Upload file page (use that link, or there's always a link on the left hand side on the page near the bottom) to upload the image to the server. Once you've uploaded your image to the server, use [[File:IMAGENAME|thumb|CAPTION]] to add the image to the tutorial.
And if you have any questions about editing, check out Wikipedia:Help:Wiki markup, or ask here (or my talk page) and I'd be glad to help you out.

Badly needs pictures![]

This is a poor quality tutorial that would be improved enormously with pictures of the various furniture items. (See my roofs tutorials for samples: Tutorials/Roof_types.) All we need is some 100pix or 150pix wide thumbnails for each furniture item, and then half the descriptions could be shortened or removed. I will get to it myself eventually if no-one else does, but I'm certainly not going to hurry. --82.69.54.207 22:59, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Showers[]

Hi everyone!!

I would like to make a shower that spews little droplets whenever you hit a lever or something of that sort. It has instructions to do it but i'm new to Minecraft and I need super detailed instructions to know how to do it. By the way this is in creative mode so I will have everything and it will be easier to hem me with instructions because I will have all materials. Please tell me the exact things I need to use. Sorry if i'm coming across bossy when your kindly trying to help, I'm just the kind of person who wants and needs all the details so I can do it right. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 4EverAGirl (talkcontribs) at 21:16, 16 April 2014 (UTC). Dude, if you want to do this sort of thing, you need to learn how to do your own research. Even without having done this, I can guess you probably want a command block and/or spawner summoning rain and/or splash particles. --MentalMouse42 (talk) 22:52, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
Umm thank you but I don't know what command block I need. Thank you for your suggestions. –Preceding unsigned comment was added by 4EverAGirl (talkcontribs) at 20:00, 21 April 2014 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
An easy way to do this would to take advantage of "Vanilla" particle properties. You will see little drips from the ceiling when the block above is covered by water (including rain, but that's impractical). It is possible to create a "water trapdoor" with sticky piston(s), and all you would need is to place a block one below to block the flow and create particles. Note that some blocks, like glass wont work to create the drips. I don't remember HOW exactly I made the water trapdoor, but I can see about making another. I'm pretty sure that you need to have a bit of space above the ceiling and behind the walls for this to work. EDIT: Particles don't drip as often as I previously thought. Additionally, the /particle is a 1.8 snapshot command. I'm investigating other possibilities. Also, this will give you a command block: /give @p minecraft:command_block Gamegirlxl (talk) 22:18, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
I've successfully made a "shower", which uses a command block that throws night vision potions (but they don't actually give any effect; I modified this command from one I found on the minecraft forums). The design could probably be improved it spews particles on the other sides of the walls (although these can be blocked by more walls ). I'll see about getting a screenshot of the shower I made (as requested, it is lever operated). The command block has this command: /summon ThrownPotion ~ ~-2 ~ {Potion:{id:373,Damage:,Count:1}} Gamegirlxl (talk) 23:18, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

About the Video Games section...[]

Somebody dropped this: "[but where does the cobblestone wall go? How big is the cobblestone wall? NOT ENOUGH INFO! Won't it block the painting? These instructions make no sense.]" Could somebody update it so Everyone viewing this forum may understand it further? [ 112.203.228.210 12:49, 20 August 2014 (UTC) ]

Chair/Sofa[]

How to make one: Place down wood stairs of your choice, (I think the Dark oak stairs in the 1.8 update look quite nice(You do have to that one though :).) then place down a trapdoor on either side right-click them both and you have a chair! To make a sofa is the same way except you place down two stairs.--68.238.249.212 22:29, 21 July 2015 (UTC) - delturtleboy
