Rarity[]

Both this and Modified Badlands Plateau say they're the second rarest biome: one of the two should be wrong. :) 31.201.98.167 20:19, 25 November 2018 (UTC)

Seems likely someone misunderstood the first paragraph. The mushroom fields is not the second-rarest but the rarest non-variant (the rarest biome among all main biomes)
I don't know which biome is the actual second-rarest.

Mushroom island village[]

I wonder if Mojang Studios will add a Mushroom Island village one day. I just can't wait, because all of the livestock cows will be replaced with mooshrooms! Also, I think it would be a great idea if the Mushroom Island villagers' clothes were mushroom-patterned. Ravenwing (talk) 18:34, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

I think it's unlikely. There wouldn't be any danger because the biome doesn't spawn hostile mobs. Amatulic (talk) 18:55, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

Explorer maps[]

Will there be explorer maps to the mushroom fields on any future update like 1.17? – Unsigned comment added by Zachbarbo (talkcontribs) at 12:16, 13 May 2021‎ (UTC). Sign comments with ~~~~

The purpose of an explorer map is to guide you to rare generated structures, not biomes, so I don't see why they would show mushroom fields unless that biome happens to be within the area of the explorer map. Sometimes you get lucky with where you happen to spawn: In the Bedrock Edition seed picker, there's a seed called "Mushroom Island" that spawns you right next to mushroom fields, and the starting map in the "Island Survival" seed shows mushroom fields in the southeast corner of the map.
