This Version on Linux?[]
How do i play this version on Linux? Starting it from the launcher leads to nothing happening. No MC Window or anything else.

This wasn't the version that was used to generate the b1.8 panorama[]
The file date completely predates b1.7. It must've been taken either in b1.6 or in b1.7 mid-development. The file date of the panorama isn't even the time&date it was taken though.
