I recommend splitting this up into four articles, due to the fact that saplings, mushrooms, and toadstools actually do something in survival. If nobody else will do it I'd be more than happy to. Robocorn 22:18, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Instead of splitting the article, add paragraphs for each decoration, just like we did on the Mob page. This way the wiki stays organized, you know?--Quatroking - Garble Garble! 20:45, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
I agree with keeping it all on one page for now. There really isn't enough information on each decoration to fill up a whole page.
Agree'd, but paragrpahs, pictures of the individual items and the crafting recipes, they occur in, are needed. --Mr FJ 18:08, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Since Survival mode came out, some of these so-called decorations have become useful and, as such, are no longer just for decoration. I think a different name for this article would be a good idea. Maybe "Plants" or something. Also the article should be updated reflecting the fact that these things can serve a purpose.

Isn't labelling the image a pretty garden biased? - Flyboy

Do mushrooms and flowers only spawn with the chunk, or do they grow randomly in loaded chunks? Could somebody make this clear in the article? - Troagador

What is this confusing article?[]

How come this article is labelled Creative in the title, and Flower redirects here? I wanted to find information about whether flowers could be spread (grown en masse) so that we could massively produce dye combinations. And what I find here is an article labelled with a game mode (not what I'm playing), and more surprising, the article first talks about Creative, then Survival Test, then Infdev, Indev, Alpha, Beta, and FINALLY, in the last paragraph of the article, information about the latest version.

I mean, really, shouldn't information about the latest version go first?

Also, why is the article labelled Decoration? Flowers may be decoration, usage of flowers to create dyes may still be decoration, coloring dyes may be decoration, but in this case, why does this article mention Saplings?

Isn't there supposed to be a Style guide page? Where is the Wiki style manual?--Ha3 03:49, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

I just did a major edit.[]

Just a heads up that I edited the page and made it talk about the use of decorations in CLASSIC, if there's anything wrong please fix it (This is my first edit :D) Should the page name get changed to Decorations (Classic)? --MitchellCM

Please sign your posts with 4 "~"s. I agree that the main name should be changed to "Decorations (Classic)". --96.237.54.85 01:12, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Merge with respective articles[]

I suggest this page gets merged with the articles "Flowers", "Mushroom", and "Sapling", since having played classic these seem just like early versions of those blocks, and not separate blocks. The behavior could also easily be added under the history sections, which already list classic as the time they were added. --KnightMiner (t|c) 01:46, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
