Bedrock Edition Bell Render?[]

The article clearly states that Bedrock Edition has a different Bell than Java Edition. It literally says that, "Unlike in Java Edition, the side texture of bells is made of stone rather than planks." Doesn't this need a render too? I don't know how to put those boxes at the top to request one, so can someone else who knows how please do that? --AwesomeNinja886 (talk) Smithing Table JE1 BE1 VillagerFace Diamond Sword 01:35, 9 December 2018 (UTC)

I just found out how to and added the More Images suggestion. Now we just need a render. --AwesomeNinja886 (talk) Smithing Table JE1 BE1 VillagerFace Diamond Sword 18:09, 9 December 2018 (UTC)

Your functionality goes here (and based on YouTube, so who knows if it's real)[]

I saw a YouTube Vid. claiming that Bells, Ring between /after rounds of Illager Raids. This should probably be checked out.

They're not currently Craftable (as of 1.13, 19w09a Snapshot before 1.14), but if they Do something (other than Ring when Rung, by Player /whatever else - Mobs hitting /shooting /exploding..? - Liquids such as Water?? Lava "warp-Ringing" it??? ["warping metal" causing noise emission?]), it might matter. Especially if it's something useful to at-least appreciate the (Changing) situation of the New Villages. It does not to anything currently, but if you are on Java Edition it can only be deliberately rung with your fists. You can use a trident/arrow on Bedrock. Maybe it will do something else, though... in the future... --AwesomeNinja886 (talk) Smithing Table JE1 BE1 VillagerFace Diamond Sword 11:39, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
Actually, I later found out starting on point 8:15 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fET63lohY9Y, it does state that they signify raids on Bedrock. This should be added to the changelogs, but what Beta it is in I am not sure. The "warp-ringing"... I dont know about. Maybe it is the Lava and Bell sounds happening to sound at once. --AwesomeNinja886 (talk) Smithing Table JE1 BE1 VillagerFace Diamond Sword 17:43, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
Was just speculating on potentials, given lack-of clarity from YouTube. Also not associated with "Unemployed /Nitwit" Villagers (though it's suspicious to me they wear the most environmentally-similar [green] robes - other than Desert Biome, of course, and uniform-white is no-longer going-forward it looks like in up-coming 1.14, so no "snow camo." , and Bells "have no specific Villager" associated with them, but Something /Someone, "Rings" them, possibly-repeatedly, but hey "Meeting Point," in any case so could be any Villager), so thanks for confirmation from 'Tube, but still naught on Wiki. Hardness of the Bell[]

Has the bell a hardness of 5 (like shown in the infobox) or a hardness of 1 (like shown in the table)? --79.219.104.243 14:54, 27 April 2019 (UTC)

Reverse ringing sound[]

From the "Trivia" section:

"In Java Edition, if a bell is used with a button, there is a chance for the bell to play the ringing sound in reverse."

I cannot reproduce this in-game, whoever wrote this might have just confused this for the sound that plays when the bell is rung near an illager. Can anyone else confirm?

Comment Sounds like either old info that's no longer valid, someone trolling, or someone who is confused. I took a brief look at the code and there is no special case for a button. When powered by anything it merely rings as normal, just as if it were hit, and that of course would include the 'bell resonates' sound when raiders are nearby. - AD OffKilter (talk) 01:32, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
