It can no longer be downloaded or played, but the contents of this page are kept for historical interest.
ME map scene

A map view in Minecraft Earth, showing a 3D view of the player's real-world map, with game features overlayed. Two adventure beacons appeared in the distance with out-of-range tappables, and tappables in the player's tapping range appeared outlined in the foreground.

The map in Minecraft Earth was the game's rendering of the player's real world around the player's GPS location.

MCE Map Concept Art

Concept art of the map.

At the top left corner, the player's avatar appeared with the player's health gauge, and experience level below the avatar.

A compass was shown in the top right corner, pointing in the direction of north relative to the current view of the map. A small white oval on the compass indicated that the game compass was linked to the device's internal compass. In this mode, the compass and view moved in real time as the player moved the device in the real world. If the white oval was missing, then the compass was de-linked from the device's internal compass, and simply showed north relative to the current view of the map.

In a row below the map, icons were shown for inventory, buildplates, Make Stuff, challenges and settings, and the game shop. The Make Stuff icon displayed a number if crafted or smelted items had completed processing, and the challenges icon showed an indicator if one or more challenges were completed and ready for collecting experience.
