A whisperer is a natural hostile mob, corrupted by a shard of the orb of dominance that can be found within the Jungle Island of Minecraft Dungeons.

Appearance[]

Whisperers are plant-like mobs composed of thick green leaves and foliage from the Jungle, corrupted by a shard of the orb and held by a violet energy seen on its body. It has long arms that it uses to summon vines as well as to move along. It has a set of leaves around its neck that act as some form of frill. Its head is that of a Venus Flytrap, with its mouth being an inner red and having sharp-looking leaves that resemble teeth. A small purple flower is seen on top of its head. Its inner body produces a reddish glow.

Behavior[]

Whisperers act almost similar to geomancers and spiders in terms of attack style, such as summoning vines in a square pattern surrounding the hero. Whisperers have four attacks:

Basic attack

Whisperers use their long arms at close range to hit the hero.

Summon (Attack A)

Whisperers summon quick growing vines at a distance around the hero in a trapping pattern. When they summon quick growing vines, a whisperer would wave its two arms, pink mist emanates from its hands, pink cracks appear in the ground where quick growing vines proceed to appear.

Poison-quill vines (Attack B)

Whisperers punch the ground and one poison-quill vine appears from the pink cracks. Used sparsely. Each poison-quill vine summoned have two times more HP than an actual whisperer itself.

Grapple vines (Attack C)

Whisperers stretch their arms forward and closes its palms, it summons a small patch of entangle vines which can trap heroes and mobs for three seconds before disappearing.
