The MinecraftEdu Launcher was the launcher for MinecraftEdu. It served as the way to play MinecraftEdu until version 1.8.9 Build 3.
Since the release of MinecraftEDU 1.8.9 Build 3, the launcher has not received any updates, the launcher has since been replaced by Minecraft Education.
On an unknown date, the launcher was removed from download, and was replaced by the Minecraft Education launcher.

Minecraft Education[]
The now current version of MinecraftEdu, Minecraft Education, is the current launcher after surpassing the MinecraftEdu launcher, it is unknown if the original launcher converts to the Minecraft Education launcher.
