Chairman of the Board of Directors
One of the founders of Webglobe, with over 20 years’ experience with the Central-European webhosting market. In 1999, Igor started his first webhosting company. In 2014 he made his first acquisition: a competitor called Yegon. In 2019 he returned to Slovakia with the ambition of taking internet services in the region to a new level.
Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors
Prior to Webglobe, Jakub worked in cloud computing in Australia working for the global leader in managed hosting – Rackspace and later, in for PwC Sydney, where he led a major cloud transformation project and consulted with ASX20 companies. In 2018 he came back to Slovakia and when he met Igor in 2019 they decided to join forces and build Webglobe, with the added benefit of his foreign know-how.

Tomas has more than 12 years of experience in finance and strategy. He joined WY Group as CFO in March 2020. Before that, he worked for large advisory firms like EY and PwC in CZ, UK and NZ. During his career he advised more than100 businesses from various industries. Besides finance, Tomas is also leading our M&A activities.
CEO
Giacomo brings to Webglobe over 20 years’ experience in marketing, strategy, and e‑commerce across multiple markets and industries (Telco, IT, Blockchain, Gaming, and Fintech). He has an MBA from INSEAD and has held CMO and CEO positions in corporates and startups, working in such groups as Deutsche Telekom, Telekom Austria, and Dell. Giacomo is a huge believer in innovation, data, and customer experience as sources of competitive advantage. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, videography, and diving.
CTO
Matus has been 15 years in IT working as a developer, solution architect, project manager, scrum master, product owner and management positions in banking institutions (Tatrabanka, Ferratum), security software (ESET) and Webhosting (Websupport) companies. He was working and led multiple transformation and strategic projects to standardize processes, improve effectiveness and implement new technologies.
Director of Custom Business Solutions
Original member of the webhosting company IGNUM, where he worked since 2012 as a purchasing and sales manager. He has almost 10 years of experience in purchasing in an IT company and is always ready to start the cooperation, to help and to share experiences.
Chief Integration Officer
Pavel has been in the hosting business for over 20 years. He started gaining his experience while studying at Czech Technical University. He worked his way up through the hosting company from customer support to the company director. In 2021 he became Chief Integration Officer at Webglobe.
