Given that this thread is in the WIP resource pack section, obviously this pack is not done. Posting here for comments and suggestions.
I'm making a pack about discovering awesome things, and the beauty of Minecraft! The textures are rather soft, and sometimes fluffy, and I'm trying to design them to give a warm and fuzzy vibe.
Oh, and it's going to have some dark lore. You might want to watch out for that.
So, tell me what you think! I'll be uploading new textures in bunches as I make them, blocks first, then items and probably GUIs after that.
(Warning, very, very unfinished, all textures likely to change as I slowly and horribly realize they suck. Also, not updated with the latest textures, likely.)
I am in love with that grass. Not so sure about the stone, though. I thought it was sand at first.
Okay. I'll add a bit more contrast to it, that should probably solve the issue. Also, include a screenshot of the sand, and the stone slabs. Give me half an hour.
Uploaded the new image. I'm going to do other stuff, probably finish the ores tomorrow.
Looks very nice. I really like the grass, dirt, sandstone, wood, logs and stone slabs, but the stone itself looks a bit weird. At the first sight, I thought that it's wool.
Also, I like that you've put so many details into the 16x16 textures (especially, the logs).

Yeah, the stone's supposed to look layered like certain types of igneous rock or cooling lava.

Yeah, I can see what you're going for with it, but it's not really working. I think there might actually be too much contrast, and it's also too light. If you made everything but the darkest colour a little more dark, it would probably look more like stone.

Okay. I'll go do that and see if it looks good.
Made a quick limestone texture out of it. Do you think this looks good?
EDIT: Yeah, I don't like darkstone. I think I'll stick with light stone and maybe break up a few rows.
Another update! I changed the stone back to the light kind (and decreased the length of the layers now, somehow) as well as finished the stone bricks and completed the obsidian and bedrock. (bedrock not shown)
Is a quadruple post a bad thing if you're bringing progress with it?
I never really have liked birch wood, what with it being useless in virtually all construction projects I've ever had and the black splotches being ugly, so I did a few google searches and turned them into asian satinwood trees! I also did the acacia trees which are nice.

It's not a bad thing, and that's a great progress!
Okay, it's been way too long, but I got hooked on Super Hostile maps again and was playing them instead of working on textures. But here you go, the torch, glowstone, glass and the door. Building materials!
I'm almost sure it's not discontinued, he's probably just taking a break.
Yeah, a very long break. I've been playing Starbound a lot and I'll probably work on it in a few days or whenever I get bored with other games and have nothing to do.

I'm a pixel artist who makes pixel things and maps! I also do line art occasionally.
I have two work in progress resource packs!
This is the second one!
And of course, by "work-in-progress" I mean "will never, ever be completed".

Thank you! I might decide to darken the cactus, but I think it looks okay,

Well, I suppose that's it. The beds are five textures, that's a lot for a single object.
