Policy re current vs older patches[]

There is no actually policy on this subject, but the general consensus is to have only the most current data in the item page. Additionally the changes made by a patch then need to be added to the patch in question as a matter of historical data. As per your example, it is already listed here. Badge Test[]

Does talking on my own page count for the badge? --Actreal 14:19, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

Guess not.

Lucky 1000th edit[]

For every 1000th edit, my friend! (so 1000, 2000, 3000 etc.) So there always a change you're the lucky one. Of course, doing a lot of editing increases your change of getting it! Greetings, JspoelJspoel Vault Boy 14:26, April 22, 2011 (UTC)

  • Thanks for your edit on the FNV quest overview page about the Emergency Radio PG fame. I had added it there, don't know why. Probably had been editing too long by the time I added it. Good change. JspoelJspoel Vault Boy 16:29, April 23, 2011 (UTC)
  • That post to me must have been a little spell of luck then. Congratulations!

Cut content[]

Yep, you're right, it is cut content. It seems to be that is was going to be implemented but was only half done, so much so that Ruby calls it Radscorpion Casserole in her dialogue, but actually gives you Ruby's Spicy Casserole (item, but not note). Creatures project[]

The definitive example is Centaur (Fallout: New Vegas). Ausir(talk) 10:12, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Unfortunately the per-category edit achievement tracks are set up only for a single category each, excluding subcategories. These edits still do count towards the platinum achievement "Hunting Master", though. Ausir(talk) 15:08, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Nightstalker image[]

It was me that removed the nightstalker image, Actreal. But I wasn't logged in at the time, so that why you saw me as an anonymous user. There's already a similar image in the gallery. JspoelJspoel Vault Boy 10:55, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

Typo Nevada agave fruit[]

Well spotted, thanks. JspoelJspoel Vault Boy 06:41, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

3 children[]

yes there is deffo 3 children and the rat respawns every 3 days. what happens, if you get chased by a freeside thug 1 or 2 of the children can run into morman fort and never leave, think thats why some people think its only 2 user:ziplobthud

Camp McCarran Concourse[]

Well, that was a nice discovery. I already was wondering what happened to that page, because I knew I had uploaded an image to the infobox, but couldn't seem to find it anymore. You could have done the move too, with a redirect. Then you should have edited the Camp McMarran Concourse page (so with the bad spelling) and redirected it to Camp McCarran concourse, with this line: [[REDIRECT:Camp McCarran concourse]]. Greek gecko[]

Just a FYI, coming in the new DLC. New Enemies: From the deadly Yao Guai and exotically lethal Greek Geckos to new hostile tribals, Zion Canyon is as dangerous as it is beautiful. User_blog:Ausir-fduser/Honest_Hearts_trailer

Re: Workbench Crate[]

I haven't actually started playing Honest Hearts yet, I've been playing FO2 lately, cramming as much ordinance as I can get my hands on into my car trunk, even though I don't use most of it. (I strictly enforce a "no smoking within 50 feet of the car trunk" policy.) =P I may start it sometime today, though. Also, what kind of "magic" are you looking for on the Workbench crate page?

As for turning metal items into scrap metal, my response is, "Hell no!" I like the to have a variety of junk. I'm using the Underground Hideout mod from FNV Nexus to store all my items, & I've modded it to sort my junk into a few containers.

Edit: forgot to sign this. Sorry! Canti-sama(talk) 20:09, May 20, 2011 (UTC)

Capitalization policy[]

In regards to your edit on the Guns page, your edits were in direct opposition to capitalization policy. --Kris User Hola 00:20, June 16, 2011 (UTC)

Craterside supply[]

Considering every letter in the signage for both instances is Capped, the in-game reference source isnt enough. Same kind of deal for FNV locations like Goodsprings general store etc. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 01:05, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Bot capitalising issue[]

It shouldn't be quoted as it is the actual name of the item, and it shouldn't be capped either because of that. But when something is capped due to a correctly quoting, it should contain a {{sic}} tag. User:AvatarUser talk:Avatar 01:04, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

Sierra Madre chip page[]

Wow, that was quite a nice edit you did there. Very streamlined. One question: after Dead Money, do the vouchers and chips appear every day or every three days? The article and the notes section had conflicting information. I haven't finished the game yet so I have no idea. -LawdyMissMaudy

Sunstone Tower[]

I'll take a look at it tomorrow. I'm calling it quits for now. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:29, September 23, 2011 (UTC)

  • It may just qualify for its own page, I suppose.

Challenge infobox[]

That was just a matter of missing redirects - I've created them now. -- Porter21 (talk) 23:16, October 10, 2011 (UTC)

Completionist's guide to Lonesome Road?[]

Hey, I just started a completionist run of NV and found your guides, which I really appreciate, and was wondering if you're going to do one for Lonesome Road. Either way, thanks for your help on the entire rest of the game!
