Tommy was a miner at Gauley Mine in Appalachia prior to the Great War.
Background[]
Tommy was one of the workers at Gauley Mine under the direction of Greg Harris. He was not trusted around explosives and was explicitly told to stay away from the plungers used to detonate the TNT being packed in for blasting by Greg. This was due to him apparently being the reason that the miners were down by two workers for the month.[1]
