Order[]

Order of missions is not the same as listed in article. Likely random.

Are the infinite like the minutemen quests?

Added a few detailed locations, a note and confirmed the number of locations at 11. Playbahnosh (talk) 09:22, November 22, 2015 (UTC)

Bugged quest question: Setstage commands/quest IDs so players who are bugged can manually end/finish the quest? Need to know the quest ID primarily. Update: turns out that when you complete a certain very important main quest, this quest (Weathervane Mission) is removed from your quest log (well technically it 'fails'). So that might be useful for people, like me, who were frustrated with it sitting there not able to remove it.

-- How to remove the Weathervane quest When destroying the Railroad for the Brotherhood or Institute, you can get rid of this quest by using:

setobjectivecompleted 000b926a 200 1

setstage 000b926a 300

That will complete the quest normally with rewards and XP. If you want to fail the quest, the setstage is 9000. This is extracted using FO4Edit and also tested in game. Tirnoney (talk) 09:50, December 15, 2015 (UTC)

Missed locations[]

I didn't get the quest to go to Mass Bay Medical Center, despite not having been there before. Discovering the location before handing in the previous quest didn't help. Kotekzot (talk) 21:03, December 20, 2015 (UTC)

Can confirm this as well. Mass Bay Medical Center was my final (11th) location and wasn't automatically triggered by Tinker Tom. Hadn't even discovered the location either.

More than 11[]

I got the 'maybe I can modify it to detect tectonics' dialog...and he gave me another quest. I wasn't keeping count of them, so I'm not sure how many I've done, but the tectonics thing definitely isn't the end. --Azaram (talk) 16:44, January 31, 2016 (UTC)

Reward[]

I was given what seemed to be some randomized/leveled armor (strengthened reinforced combat armor left leg, I think it was) on the 10th turn-in. It went by pretty quickly in the corner, but I definitely saw it happen as part of the turn-in. Anyone able to corroborate so we can mention it on the page? --Aiken Drum (talk) 14:52, February 18, 2016 (UTC)

No MILA Required - Bug[]

Went to place a MILA just a moment ago at Back Street Apparel, and even though I activated the board to place it, there's no MILA on the board and it hasn't left my inventory, but it told me to go back to Tinker Tom. Seems remarkably similar to the bug at the bottom needing clarification.

  • Playing on PC at the current latest release (non-beta) patch.
  • Only texture mods, no mods changing game functionality.

Anyone else have this happen to them? It's not quite like the bug at the bottom of the list, but it seems fairly similar. ~Virtue (Axelskox) User Axelskox talk 06:35, May 26, 2016 (UTC)

After fast-travelling back to the Railroad base, I received a message stating it was removed from my inventory. I traveled back to Back Street Apparel and it's there. So I guess this isn't a bug, just a horrendously long delay. ~Virtue (Axelskox) User Axelskox talk

Prerequisites[]

Anyone know what quest(s) need to be completed for these to become available? Aya42 (talk) 23:36, February 1, 2018 (UTC)

Seems it requires Institutionalized for some reason. Have updated infobox. Aya42 (talk) 20:01, February 13, 2018 (UTC)

10/11 mila glitch in PS4[]

Tinker Tom gave me 10 locations for the Milas. After the tenth, we wont talk about it anymore. The one missing is Camp Kendal. I've even tried purchasing the mila and trying to set it up, but it's not possible. Since I cant use console on PS4, is my game glitched forever? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.59.143.92 (talkcontribs) 08:20, April 23, 2018 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

10 quests is not a bug[]

I have altered the entries in the Notes and Bugs section to reflect the value every non-bugged/modded game should recieve according to the script files. The global variable "RRR05MILAsAllPlaced" determines the amount of times this quest should run and it is set to 9 which causes Tinker Tom to admit his faliure while you hand in the quest for the 9th time. However, due to the order of operations he will actually try to give you one last location (if a non-cleared can be found) before admiting failure, so it's actually possible to clear the quest 10 times. If anyone can actually get all 11 in a non-modded game, feel free to correct me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:908:1871:7D20:48A4:42ED:10C:A65A (talkcontribs).
