List of vaults[]

Edit: Changed list of Vaults to include Vault 101, and removed 112 (which is now correct). Added two sentences in "Trivia" section regarding Bobblehead.

Location of the Big Book of Science in the Corporate Offices.[]

Vault-Tec BBoS 01

The Quantum cola is in the room immediately west of the book, and you will probably see the cola first since it is in plain view and easily reached. Click to enlarge --Ari Solis 21:16, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Mainframe Door Glitch - Cause Found[]

The mainframe door acts just like Goalie Ledoux & Friends, which is to say that it only works during the associated quest. I had saves from before, during, and after Agatha's Song, and it worked for the first two and not the last. In other words, the door won't open if the quest is finished. Thank god for the stair-jump, it saved a lot of time in the investigation. PositronicSpleen 01:42, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

I can confirm this also happens on the PS3 version of the game with the latest patch. Can somebody tell me how to do the stair jump? Lawbayly 11:47, February 21, 2010 (UTC)
I still have times where I get locked out of the mainframe even though I have not completed the quest. If I log out and then back in I am able to open the door. Front24237 22:09, April 28, 2010 (UTC)

Masterbrain[]

I'd only accessed two of the computers required to shut down the Masterbrain, but (probably due to the Robotics Expert perk) was still able to access and shut it down without any trouble. This should probably be checked out properly before it's added to the page though. —Preceding comment was unsigned. Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Reanimation glitch[]

I amended the master brain all robots gain 1 hp glitch they will reanimate on the admin level as well with 1 hp and i've tested it a few times now and it happens to them all except master brain, on the 360 version that is.98.215.69.173 13:03, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Quantum in machine?[]

The Quantum listed as being in the machine will not always be there will it? does it not follow the 10% chance of getting a Quantum from any nuka cola machine? I am gonna go ahead and remove it and paste it here in case there is something differnt about this machine that i didnt know about. Ohno21212 16:17, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

"Nuka-Cola Quantum in Nuka-Cola machine straight ahead of you when you go up the flight of stairs. It should also contain 2 regular bottles of Nuka-Cola." Ohno21212 16:17, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Second incorrect location of a quantum-

"1st is on the first floor. After going to the top of the flight of stairs at the entrance, take a right, then a left, go to the end of that hallway, then take another left, and there should be a Nuka-Cola machine in front of you. It contains 3 bottles of Nuka-Cola and 1 bottle of Nuka-Cola Quantum." 24.34.31.167 22:05, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Pre-War Book[]

I scoured the area all around that safe and the garbage can, and no pre war-book to be found. I checked both floors. Also, no scoped .44, no stealth boy in the safe no power fist and no recon armor, but those were admittedly 'possible'. 360 version. —Preceding comment was unsigned. I can confirm the book is there in the PC version.23.228.165.159 14:18, August 23, 2014 (UTC)
I found a Pre-War book and a Scoped .44 Magnum. The Scoped .44 Magnum was very difficult to see, on a toilet reservoir. It is opposite the stall where the door is blown in to obscure the toilet. I jumped on the neighboring stall to look down in there, and didn't see anything of importance, but while I was up there, I jumped across the way and saw the pistol while looking down on the toilet. I was surprised this wasn't included in the Noteable Loot section. PS3 GOTY Edition 75.181.26.143 22:42, April 20, 2020 (UTC)

required key: jail cell?[]

Hey, where's the key to access the locked cell on the top floor?[[Special:Contributions/ 03:11, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

Can not shut down Masterbrain[]

Used all 3 'System Operation Stations' terminals but Masterbrain did not cease to be hostile.

Vault-tec Vault Information[]

I got this note after completing 'Trouble on the Homefront'. I already had all the vault locations, but the access codes, that's a different matter. As I acquired this note after completing 'Trouble on the Homefront', does that somehow mean I can get BACK INTO Vault 101 even after being told to leave it forever? TobiasSmith 18:54, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

No. The password was changed after trouble on the homefront, and the passwords on the mainframe are before the bombs fell. Tezzla blah blah blah 19:58, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Ah right thankyou. This is what I thought, just wanted to check. I know we also got off on the wrong foot, and I would like to apologise for this and start afresh :) TobiasSmith 20:02, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

Reverts[]

No, really, my change was correct. It's on the third floor. Just because the edit's from an IP, doesn't meant that it's wrong. But if you all are so insistent on rolling it back, have it your way. 74.61.10.229 23:30, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Your edits were correct and have been restored. --Kris User Hola 23:49, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Vault 101[]

Multiple people have added the information for Vault 101 being added to your list, but the same amount has also deleted this information. My version of the game says "You've downloaded the locations and access codes to Vault 87, 92, 101, 106 and 108.".
If you think my information is incorrect, please tell me by replying to this section or leaving me a message at my Talk Page.
~ Scribe Aurora................... Vault Adimn seem as screwed up as their vault experminments were insane.Just in case and to confirm the location of vaults listed in the VT computer after all that trouble of tripple key confirmation and lock are 87,92,101,106 and 108.--1000HrsFallout3 (talk) 03:23, September 1, 2012 (UTC)

Bug[]

So, this new bug, to be clear, is complaining that when you kill the Masterbrain, the door to the mainframe locks. Doesn't it start out locked? Aren't you supposed to find the three terminals to unlock it? I'm questioning especially because the poster states they can't find the key it is talking about, suggesting they may not know about this. Paladin117>>iff bored; 02:56, March 13, 2013 (UTC)

I removed the bug from the page. I tried what they were saying, and it's not true. It's just the bug above about it not unlocking at all that is true. Ganondorf 00:10, April 8, 2013 (UTC)

Aforementioned safe[]

The notable loot section contains this line: "A pre-War book on top of a garbage can next to aforementioned safe." I'm unable to find any previous mention of the safe in the article. 23.228.165.159 14:12, August 23, 2014 (UTC)
