Name Parallel[]

Is the reference to Black Isle Studio confirmed or is this speculation? Notably, Ebon Atoll is a real island with some history. DragonDude1029 (talk) 22:49, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

Unless there is a meaningful connection with the IRL Ebon Atoll, the Black Isle reference would seem more relevant. Although I am willing to believe that it isn't coincidence that they named it "Ebon Atoll"... --Skire (talk) 22:53, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

Museum of Technology Placard Text[]

I think it would be useful to include the original text from the relevant placard in the Museum of Technology within the article, for context;

This flag was recovered from the wreck of the U.S.S. Ebon Atoll, a U.S. Navy Missile Cruiser, sunk off the coast of Alaska in 2066 with all hands lost. The cutting edge vessel's loss was due to a nuclear torpedo strike from the U.S. Navy Submarine, the U.S.S. Interference during the Anchorage Campaign. The submarine mistook the cruiser for an enemy vessel during radio silence and sunk it before obtaining vessel confirmation. This ranks as one of the most tragic disasters in U.S. Naval History since World War II.

Or a link to it though I can't find it in the wiki. Lunamoonraker (talk) 15:36, June 7, 2014 (UTC)

Ensign Not Flag[]

The placard in the Museum of Technology (from which this information is taken) is called U.S.S. Ebon Atoll's Flag (also in the actual placard text) However, it is more correctly an Ensign when flown from a ship at sea. Lunamoonraker (talk) 15:50, June 7, 2014 (UTC)
