UFO repair[]

Should probably note that it's possible to repair the UFO (and insert extra cores) before receiving the quest.

Fallen Stars[]

What happens if a bunch of the Hubbos die in the mission getting there? I've seen and heard Tula dying, and a small speech about her sacrifice, but I haven't seen the others.--Est Nikkas Oth Mithas (talk) 03:53, September 20, 2016 (UTC)

Pretty sure that Tula's dyíng is a scripted event, and that the others are marked as essential during the quest (I've let them go up against the Sentry and they would only fall down like a companion would when their health got too low). Litheen (talk) 16:36, October 18, 2016 (UTC)

There isn't a script for Tula's death as she survived the run to the barn for me, stayed put whilst I killed everything, and successfully got into the spaceship with the others. Whilst she may not be essential, she can definitely survive the quest. 86.22.223.208 12:56, October 25, 2016 (UTC)

Just in front of the spaceship, I heard someone mourning Tula ("not Tula no" or sth.) and then disappear; she appeared a bit later right before entry; and it was Tula herself! No deaths were mentioned in the speech also.--SURParamour (talk) 02:41, October 20, 2019 (UTC)

Extra Core[]

I found there is another, fifth Fusion Core south of the spaceship, up high on the rocks. It's next to a large tea cup.

Killing Cleansed before SetStage200[]

If you kill Cleansed by mistake before getting this quest, the Hubologists turn Hostile and you can never do Trip to the Stars. My Big Leagues rank 4 killed him and I didn't notice it. No console command combo seems to fix this either, it's eternally broken. (talk) 05:18, December 19, 2016 (UTC)Zafire063

Bug verification: Starting the ride without some Hubologists[]

"If the Hubologists have not entered the space ship before activating the ride, the quest might not trigger completion." I can verify this on PC and did some testing with the saves around that point. Here's the results:

- Attempt 1: I started the ride with one bay empty (all the Hubologists were alive so one was still outside the ship). When the ride ended, I talked to Dara inside the ship. She gave me her quest-ending dialogue but no ammo and the quest stayed active. Once she exited the ship, she no longer responded to anything. Killing her failed the quest.

- Attempt 2: I waited outside the ship until all Hubologists had gone inside first. I went into the ship and everyone showed in place already, so I started the ride. When the ride ended, I exited the ship immediately. I was stepping away from the ship a little when the quest completed and I got the ammo. Once Dara exited the ship, she would not respond to me.

- Attempt 3: I went into the ship before anyone else, started the ride when Dara was in place but not some of the others (they were present, however), and exited the ship as soon as the ride was over. Once Dara was outside the ship, I talked to her and she gave me the ammo, her quest-ending dialogue, and the quest completed.

- Attempt 4: I went into the ship and started the ride as fast as possible; all the Hubologists showed as present during the ride. I exited the ship as soon as the ride was over. Once Dara exited the ship, talking to her gave her quest-ending dialogue but no ammo and the quest stayed active.

As per those results, it would appear that talking to Dara on the ship also bugs the quest. The way to get around both issues is to wait until all the Hubologists have gone into the ship first just to be sure, then go in and start the ride. Once the ride is over DO NOT talk to Dara, instead leave the ship immediately. Once you load out and step away, the quest will hopefully finish on its own and dispense the ammo; otherwise try talking to Dara once she appears outside the ship. --Tirsden (talk) 11:05, January 7, 2018 (UTC)

Companion Response[]

Valentine LIKES it when the hubologists survive at the end of the quest. Not sure why the page says that he dislikes it. 2A03:2880:2130:9FF0:FACE:B00C:0:1 00:08, June 9, 2018 (UTC)

Phil Roller goes AWOL[]

After you clear the junkyard and Dara "forms the wheel," Phil Roller may decide he's not having any of it and go off to the shack where they normally take up residence after the spaceship test run. Speak to him and he tells you he "cannot help you." Speak to Dara Hubbell and she says she needs to "address the faithful" first. Do a "moveto" command and he'll just walk right back to the shed. Recycleactor and resurrect are of no help, and using sgtm 100 to see if he eventually just comes back simply prove that he doesn't. Why so many points for companion range of interests?[]

In the Notes section, there's currently 7 points for companion range of interests. Is there a need for so many? It seems to me things could be shuffled and make it 4-5 instead. I wanted to do it myself, but I'm hesitant seeing my changes gets reverted. DynV (talk) 22:07, June 20, 2020 (UTC)

I think that'd be a good idea to condense them if possible. Alternatively, I am keen to add Template:Affinity tables to all the FO4 quest pages as part of the Fallout Wiki:Fallout 4 quests project so if you're interested you could put the information in one of these. I just haven't personally gotten around to it yet. --L84tea Tea kettleWould you like a cup of tea? 22:29, June 20, 2020 (UTC)

Classic Amusement Ride type name (Gravitron).[]

Is it worth noting the lore that the UFO ride in question is the classic "Gravitron" ride? It's other common name is "Starship". The most similar name to the quest of the known names for the ride is "Flight to Mars". If someone could pull up where that particular one is that would be even more useful lore information. Citation on Gravitron: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitron I'm sure more could be found by checking more than the first few entries of Google, but I'm lazy today. --Ruediix (talk) 09:18, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
