There is door in The Chop Shop that's [INACCESSIBLE]. Does anyone know how to open this door?

Not sure, but inside the room it opens into are two named, non-hostile Glowing Ones and a safe with a bit of ammo and some caps inside. (You can see all this from the window in the main office.) By using the tcl console command, you can enter the room without using the door. The Glowing Ones will not fight back even when attacked, but do not give a karma penalty if killed. Neither has special loot. Taking the contents of the safe is considered theft, and will result in a karma hit. 132.162.71.136 03:43, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, I'm playing on the xbox version and don't have access to the TCM command. It looks like Bethesda wanted to do a miniquest that involved getting to that safe, but never implemented it. Might be a DLC thing. Dirk Gently 05:09, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Did you also know tha using console commands to get to there sometimes makes the game crash? This was on Vista, not sure if it applies to the rest of you guys. --Zappypantz 20:32, November 10, 2009 (UTC)

The names of the ghouls were Meat and Ethyl and the safe was a very hard locked container. I found 8 stimpacks inside so I in my opinion the loot is random too... Lachanadan

Nope, it doesn't work, simply because there's nothing to display. I checked in the toolset, the developers didn't add any text, so clicking the topics does nothing. WRFan 14:07, November 16, 2009 (UTC)

Using the geck Shows interesting data about the door.[]

Viewing the "inaccessible" door in the geck shows bizarre findings. First; the door was made inaccessible maybe in the last second of development as it has a lock level and it's average. Second; the most bizarre of the findings. The door's owner is Doctor Li yes she; Madison Li. Why? That's beyond anyone's guess. The safe is also named. The Chop Chops safe so it was meant to be accessed. But all this weird stuff is strange how it was coded like that with a lock and still being inaccessible and having an owner that has nothing to do with the place or character. 24.50.225.127 03:46, August 1, 2020 (UTC)Anonymous
