Most Accurate?[]

From what I can tell, this weapon is the most accurate (so far) automatic GUN in the game, allowing for medium to long range killing. That should count for at least something? --Radnus 13:19, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

The CZ57 Avenger and Minigun upgraded with the Damped subframe both have a lower spread than the SMMG but their high strength requirement usually results in it being worsened for many character builds. Dr. Lobotomy 00:09, September 23, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, sry, didnt pay attention to those. I was more thinking about automatic side arms and rifles. I know this isnt a rifle either, but the 10mm ammo, low rate of fire and short barrels made me think of those instead of minigun. --Radnus 13:33, September 23, 2011 (UTC)

What about the OWB Cyberdog guns? They may have higher spread but they could arguably be better at a far range just because they have an active zoom much like a "scope" that makes it alot easier to stay on target with moving targets at a range. 72.174.218.227 19:20, October 7, 2011 (UTC)

zero critical hit multiplier a mistake by the devs?[]

Could it be that the zero critical hit multiplier is a mistake by the devs? My reason is that in the GECK it clearly has a critical damage set. Then there is the fact that this gun uses an ammo that has no DT penetrating power at all, which makes it have a huge disadvantage against any other heavy automatic gun which does have some form of DT penetration. Therefore, giving it a zero critical hit chance is seriously crippling a weapon that wasn't that great to begin with. I can see it as normal giving this weapon at least a 1 critical multiplier..but not zero.

I don't know if the zero crit chance is an oversight or not, but you can still crit with it. Some crit amps are added after the weapon crit chance modifier. See Critical chance for which ones help. The crit rate still isn't very high, but at least you'll get some crits. The Gunny 18:08, December 31, 2011 (UTC)
Well i only asked, since this weapon seems to perform poorly compared to the minigun or even the k9000 when trying to mow down mid to low armored enemies due to its low DPS. Critical hits is the only way i can think of for this thing to bypass DT and looking at the extremely low possibility of doing a critical hit is depressing for a weapon that looks pretty cool to use. Even if the devs give this thing a critical hit multiplier of 1 and a critical hit damage of zero, it would still perform better then it is now due to the increase likeliness of just bypassing DT and doing the full damage.

Near the end[]

I started noticing them on Marked Men probably around the middle, but I haven't played in a while so would look for some confirmation on that if we were going to change it. NerdExtrodinare (talk) 12:05, August 24, 2014 (UTC)
