Wait...why is Scrapheap Fallout canon, especially as it's a demo location? How does it fit into the storyline since it has some characters that are also on another spot? It's odd - Kharn
Well, the only characters like that are Dogmeat and the guy who asks you to get rid of the dog. The rest has a completely different storyline. They also mention Junktown, so it's not just another version of the same town, they just used the same graphics for them. Ausir 01:15, 11 Aug 2005 (CEST)
- Sure, but since it's not in the actual game, why is it determined that the Vault Dweller visits it? Kharn
- Well, he does visit it in the demo :). Ausir 00:55, 15 Aug 2005 (CEST)
I wish there were more locations like this one. To be honest, it has an atmosphere like no other place in Fallout.
My theory:
Max Stone is a twin or he was cloned. So when original Vault Dweller begins his mission in Vault 13 Dec 5th 2161, Max Stone is entering Scrapheap then. Max Stone stayed in Scrapheap forever (technical reason - no exid grid :) and didn't rescued his Vault. Scrapheap should be somwhere outside the Fallout 1 map (east?, like in PnP or north, but then it should disappeared before Fallout 2 begins). Of course vault dweller visited Scrapheap - at least Max Stone was vault dweller (but not this heroic Vault Dweller).
Max Stone in Scrapheap has not to affraid about 120 day waterchip deadline. I haven't checked how longer demo could last.
