Multiple Books?[]

It appears the themes can be purchased multiple times. Would this work as an expensive way to get an unlimited amount of Lying, Congressional Style and other skill books? FistFullofNovocain 02:02, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

As far as I have been able to tell, yes. if you buy a theme and take items, sell them and buy a new theme, you can then buy the first theme again and it will be the full theme, all items, books and gear included. MisterPuck 10:42, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

I just tested it two different ways and no at this time it can't be done. I went from Science (used the book once and sold the book once) to Raider and then back to Science, and the book was gone both times. Livingston 04:24, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Other Themes[]

How does one get the other themes? I only had access to the Pre-war theme when I had the Tenpenny place. SnowWolf75 03:59, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

  • You have to talk to the appropriate vendor and go through a special dialog path in order to change your theme. For Moira, it goes something like "I hear you're the person to see about buying stuff for my house." Then you have to pick out a theme during the dialog... and THEN it will be available for purchase under the vendor's "Miscellaneous" tab. 68.53.137.48 00:25, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

When i first got the science theme in megaton i thought that the atmosphere of the room looked blueish. I left and came back in about a day and It looked like went back to the atmosphere of the normal theme. When you buy a theme does it realy change the atmosphere of the room or is it just me? --Radraider 03:40, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

  • I've noticed it too. Try the "Love Machine" theme for some extreme ambiance! I believe that some of the themes add colored light sources to the house, and that's why it looks like everything has changed color. The "Wasteland Explorer" theme has a really depressing blue / green tint to it. 68.53.137.48 00:25, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

BaseID?[]

Why is there no Base ID for this? It's obtainable through 'coc testqaitems' (IIRC) so why not include a ref? (I'd do it, but I don't know it :D)

While I'm at it, someone might add Base ID references to ALL house equipment/styles, seeing as they're missing as well. (85.221.140.237 03:44, 22 August 2009 (UTC))
