Voice Actor[]

Anyone know who does the voice acting for this character? Sure sounds to me like Don Cheadle. After noticing some of the other big Hollywood voices NV, I wouldn't be surprised. But there's nothing online about it. 71.237.211.94 17:29, March 10, 2013 (UTC)

Reference to Songwriter?[]

I've been working through my music collection, looking for good 50's/60's stuff to put into a playlist while playing New Vegas. I stumbled across Chain Gang by Sam Cooke, and realized that it's probably a reference.

Sam Cooke wrote the song, of course, which makes it a reference to the Powder Gangers. Additionally, he was a civil rights activist and supposedly a criminal (though that last bit is debated, as you can see in the linked Wikipedia article.)

If it isn't a reference, and I'm not sure how we're supposed to prove it is or isn't, it's an incredible set of coincidences based on the character's story/description in the article.

I write this because after the fact, I see that I'm not the first one to notice this - but the edits have been reverted a couple of times and I wanted to defend the position before it got blown away again. :V

It's been added and removed in the past because it's speculative. All there really is to support it is that they share a name, however that's hardly evidence. To get a source, the best way would be getting in touch with a dev or finding some official source that states it is in fact a reference. Richie9999 (talk) 05:52, June 27, 2020 (UTC)
