How do you start?[]

When I talk to Cobb and ask him if he wants to take over the town he says "No. I got a funny feeling about you." How do I get him to agree to take over the town? --68.204.185.123 00:07, December 4, 2010 (UTC)

You've probably already talked to Ringo and offered to help him. If that's the case, Cobb won't accept your help. 99.8.150.11 03:46, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, they hid this a bit better then they probably meant to, a lot of people miss this quest.--Occono 22:15, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

Leather armor bug[]

if killed the gangers before getting them equipment and use the exp trick eventually the dead gangers outside will have the leather armor you get from chet allowing for double the armor/caps--Tbone11 03:01, January 5, 2011 (UTC)

Title related to...[]

Is it just me or are the references a little thin? "Run Rabbit Run" and the film Forrest Gump seem like a stretch. The phrase: "Run,...(insert topic)..., Run" is fairly common in usage and predates Forest Gump. I'm not familiar with the song, but the link was for a WWII British song and nursery rhyme. Don't see how either relates to Fallout or its themes. I'm pulling it. If someone can clarify how it is a reference more than similarity of words I'll support its re-inclusion. 74.77.129.70 22:13, February 10, 2011 (UTC)

It looks like Jackick restored the reference to Forrest Gump back in February 2013. Jackick, do you have some reason to believe the title is a reference to that film? Without any evidence to that effect, I find it unlikely. I agree that the reference should be pulled. -TC 207.154.89.217 21:19, November 27, 2013 (UTC)

Could we get a better image for this page, please? Its very wide and its hard to tell whats going on. BILLYOCEAN 22:09, April 20, 2011 (UTC)

Is there a way to take screencaps from a PS3? Great Mara 22:16, April 20, 2011 (UTC)

Cut Content[]

Kill Ringo before talking to Cobb, the resulting alternate dialogue suggests there were initially plans for a third optional task that was later cut from the game. The player could have sabotaged a locked gate on the Bighorner pen, presumably allowing the panicked Bighorners to escape and stampede. Pyrion 23:12, June 28, 2011 (UTC)

Siding with Joe Cobb[]

After completing the quest, Joe Cobb says to head over to the NCR Correctional facility to make some more caps, and the fact that he sent you should be enough to get inside. But there's no dialogue option for that with the guard, so what's the deal? Was it cut content, a bug, or intended? Foxi Hooves (talk) 20:51, January 30, 2014 (UTC)

I'd wager it's more that it's irrelevant. The Powder Gangers are a bunch of cons with only a loose affiliation, and I doubt there's much in the way of communication between all the splintered groups that come under the PG umbrella. I hope I'm not being too speculative, but it really does seem like quite a loose group. --222.154.232.126 08:30, February 11, 2015 (UTC)
