RE: "Nova's Diary"[]
i saw this in the article, and my intuition and the subsequent lack of existence of said item makes me think this is someones wishful thinking in play, case in point that moriarty's doesnt HAVE a basement.
- Can someone with the GECK editor just look through the books for this supposed diary?
- I've search the Fallout 3 data pack for "Nova", "Diary" and "Book" and found no mention of any diary owned by Nova. The existence of the diary is most likely a fabrication, because Moriarty's Saloon doesn't contain a basement (as mentioned before). --71.124.185.106 02:15, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Effect of lady killer perk[]
Not sure about this. I got the same response from nova and I didn't have the Lady Killer Perk I did however have a reasonably increased charisma skill.
"If the player (male) possesses the Lady Killer Perk, the dialogue and innuendo from her becomes more evidently playful and suggestive. When questioned if she's ever "serviced" Gob, she simply replies, "I know I'm a whore... and he's sweet and all, and he'd like it... but any Johnnies squishier then me are no good"."

New life[]
This has only happened once to me, i went on a random killingspree and killed everyone in the bar, after the battle nova was still alive and in the dialog she said she had left the life of a prostitute and taken over the bar after colins death. Ive yet to find a way to kill colin without making megaton hostile, but maybe its worth mentioning.
Plant an explosive on him and run out of the saloon really fast. Hopefully he exploded just before you left the building. Hide and hopefully no one sees you. People would be searching first, but then stops searching after CAUTION goes away. Go back in and no one seems to care. Another way could be killing him with Sandman when he is sleeping. Basically in any situation where you need to kill someone without anyone else noticing or freaking out and pissing everyone off, you need to isolate them and kill them in one hit, or blow them up and hide. I've done this in Tenpenny Tower killing the guards in the lobby off one by one without them getting permanently angry. You have to make sure no one is looking for you anymore before approaching someone again. Otherwise everyone would freak out and start shooting at you. --Lord0din69 03:54, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Nova and Gob take over the place and she leaves prostitution if you kill Moriarity. She calls you mister/miss dangerous, and Gob says "dont shoot!" whenever you attack him.
Odd Bug[]
I've noticed that for some reason my game will crash when I attack Nova... I know this sounds silly and from a programming point of view it makes utterly no sense. However, I've tested this on two characters and the game still crashes. I thought that this might be a bug related to a type of NPC, but when I went and killed everyone in Megaton except Nova and everyone in Rivet City, the game still continued. If I even so much as punch that woman my game crashes. Anyone else have this problem (PC version)?
UPDATE: Traced the bug down to a mod I had that affected NPC hair and makeup... go figure.

a note can be found under one of the beds upstairs that details a romantic encounter between Nova and Gob.

I have never found such a note but I have seen Nova & Gob sleeping in the same bed.
