- It's likely an intended mechanic. A tip in one of the loading screens states: "Prefer to go it alone? With the Lone Wanderer perk, you'll take less damage and be able to carry more equipment when you adventure without a companion or dog.". {{SUBST:Nosubst|Signatures/Crazy sam10}} 16:34, December 9, 2015 (UTC)

OK, the page and the talk says the perk is bugged with Dogmeat, but if it indeed is, why hasn't it been patched? I know not ALL bugs were even with 3 patches, but nonetheless, exploits or player-friendly glitches tend to be the first taken out, right? WhoeverReadThis (talk)WhoeverReadThis

Rank 3 seems to have stopped working for me. Can anybody else confirm?
- I think I can confirm. (PS4) Prior to the latest patch it appeared to work with Dogmeat. With my latest play-through I found that solo my carry weight jumped vs when I had Dogmeat with me. I was already at L3 of the perk and will need to do some additional testing to see if Bethesda considered this a bug and "fixed" it and if it affects everything or just the carry weight.
