Location, vehicle or character[]

From what I understand from the article, the platform itself isn't an intelligence of its own, more a machine controlled by an external artificial intelligence. Should we be categorising it as a character, or should we be calling a vehicle, possibly a location? Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 19:25, June 9, 2019 (UTC)

The game classifies it as a voice-only NPC, it has speaking lines in response to the player character, and it has a character definition within the game files. -- Bovinejeff (talk) 22:14, June 9, 2019 (UTC)
That may be so, but the article doesn't say that is what it is from a narrative standpoint. It sounds more like its technical capability is akin to Highwater-Trousers, where it takes input from an external unit (the Sat-com Array) and acts on those instructions, rather than being an autonomous unit which makes it own decisions. As I've found with definitions in the game files from Fallout 4, some things have certain definitions purely for functionality, so it is better to consider things like this from the narratives perspective. It does seem from the article that it is more akin to Highwater-Trousers and Bradley-Hercules than its own independent character. Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 22:29, June 9, 2019 (UTC)
