Can they be saved?[]
Is it at all possible to save the members of the caravan? I've tried about five times, but one White Legs always gets a shot off at Jed.

It's probably a scripted event. Try going into vats and killing them... you can't

I was wondering if I was the only person that thought this guy was a total wierdo when I first met him."You look just the type" was the first thing he said in that low serial killer type voice of his. I thought he was gonna bend me over and shove a grenade up my ass. Not to mention those creepy eyes, just wierd man!
Whats ironic is that he voiced Lee in Walking Dead, who was a killer. :P

Storage[]
I read something on the Honest Hearts page about his body never disappearing. Does that mean you can use his corpse as a storage bin to keep things in the HH DLC and collect it later?
