Jason Bright sounds just like Bill Mumy did as Lennier in Babylon 5. If someone knews who actually voiced him in the game, I'd appreciate them updating this page. There is no evidence on IMDB or Mumy's own official page that this is him.

I'm also curious, though I thought the actor was trying to sound like Mark Hamill. StClair 08:03, November 8, 2010 (UTC)

His voice sounds nowhere near heavenly, it just sounds...artificial, like a robot, why would Obsidian make Jason like that?? --220.244.111.207 11:17, March 12, 2011 (UTC).

Did anyone ever figure this out? My first thought was John Ritter. Nothing on IMDB that I can see. Theopheus (talk) 20:27, January 7, 2014 (UTC)

Halo references?[]

He makes a hell of a lot of Halo references. 74.4.206.17 00:18, October 30, 2010 (UTC)

In Halo, the Covenant (the villains) want to go on a religious "Great Journey," but are prevented by the "Demons" (the humans and Master Chief)from going on that great journey.

I definitely noticed it as well, didn't know if it was intentional.

Great religious journeys and people preventing them are an age-old trope. Hell, even the Bible has it. Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 12:42, December 10, 2010 (UTC)

I agree with the guy above, also the talk about a far beyond is present in the halo series! Oh and the talk about "Demons" that are trying to stop the great journey, of course. xNOKIx 14:21, February 11, 2011 (UTC)

Blight[]

It's probably just a coincidence, but he reminds of Blight from Batman Beyond. - Wierdperson31 19:23, December 11, 2010 (UTC)

He reminded me of Hugh Bliss from the more recent Sam and Max games. He could have any number of inspirations. DJMouthwash (talk) 20:30, August 3, 2013 (UTC)

Is Jason Bright for real?[]

At first glance, The Bright Brotherhood just sounds like some crazy cult. Might as well make their rockets crash into each other- they're flying to their deaths in the cold depths of outer space anyway, right? After doing their quest, I'm not so sure. Bright's otherworldly, ethereal, and certainly not ghoulish voice for one suggests maybe there is some truth to Bright being a prophet or having some sueprnatural powers. Why else would his voice be like that? I'm sure there could be an explanation, but then there's the fact that if you help the Brights the ending slides say that some Bright followers actually returned and helped the town of Novac to build its defenses. Those rockets were one way trips, as far as I can tell. Whatever they found out in the "far beyond" they were able to refuel their rockets or modify them into vehicles that can exit and enter the earth's atmosphere at will! And, also consider that they left with nothing but their space suits, and returned with enough supplies to fortify Novac! I think there may be something to what Bright is saying. I think we should all bathe in radiation and make the Great Journey to the Far Beyond.--Resplendant Securitron 20:42, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

I haven't played Fallout 3, but i'm certain they will be picked up by "Mothership Zeta". Jason's visions must have been sent from there. Zarathustra01 08:22, January 3, 2011 (UTC)
Why assume that Bright's destination was out in space? Those rockets aren't exactly space-capable, especially with each loaded down with multiple ghouls. I think that their journey was relatively short, probably into some horrendously irradiated military area pounded by multiple large warheads in the Great War, where ghouls will, indeed, be free from human interference, since any human who ventured there would drop dead. Then why not just walk there? A number of possibilities -- one would be that perimeter defenses or natural obstacles are just too challenging, but the most convincing would be that Jason Bright has the sense of theater necessary for all messiahs, and has set up the flight as a rite of passage for his flock. If so, there would be nothing to prevent him, after landing and getting established, from sending members back to Novac to help against the Legion.
Mothership Zeta, I'm afraid, is a no-starter here. For one thing, you trash the place, and even before that the aliens are not at all friendly to either human or ghoul. Wunengzi 01:47, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
I was actually wondering if their destination was that huge, irradiated crater-like structure you can see from Mothership Zeta; given that (in Jason's words) the radiation is instantly lethal to humans. Just speculation of course, but it made me wonder. ComaDivine 02:42, May 28, 2011 (UTC)

The No-Bark man says that their goal is the Moon. You can sorta understand that, both by getting the Space suit and helmet and also looking into the launch pad, the Ghouls are wearing the suits also.--VoltageHero 20:47, June 27, 2011 (UTC)

Old World Blues?[]

hermes?[]

perhaps they are heading to the hermes platforms from fallout 3 if so twud be kick ass in the next fallout if during some masjor story line mission they "help you out" if u geyt me!

No, I don't get you. --Kastera (talk) 23:00, October 27, 2011 (UTC)
I believe he is referring to B.O.O.M. the orbital nuke launcher. If they're heading there I would wonder where they get food.
There may also be a chance it may be referencing to the Glow.

Survived crash?[]

I've Searched the entire area for Jason after sabotaging the rockets and found absolutely nothing, was him surviving made up?--Gboy4 (talk) 22:55, January 28, 2013 (UTC)

You will see the rockets again, crashed some where in FO4.--Wert1978 (talk) 23:32, June 8, 2013 (UTC)
