Anyone know how to get rid of the '{' on top of the template. I attempted to get rid of it, but to no avail. Any help? Kastera1000 03:50, February 10, 2011 (UTC)

I can't figure it out either, from here. Seems like a waste of time to me, all these fancy datarows. :/ Nitty Tok. 03:59, February 10, 2011 (UTC)
Nice! We fixed it. I am oh so happy! Kastera1000 22:56, February 10, 2011 (UTC)

General or Chief?[]

Hanlon was listed as a general because he was referred to as such in this edit, before the infobox had been added. Presumably this information was not made up, and it does seem unlikely that he would lead the NCR at the rank of Chief (given that it is General Oliver who leads the second battle), although I would like to see a source for it before it is re-added to the article. --Flower of Pock-Lips 16:56, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

Hanlon is never referred to as a general in the game. The rank structure of the NCR Rangers is different to that of the regular NCR Army. Oliver was actually the commander of the army forces during the first battle as well, but it were Hanlon's rangers that won it. Ausir(talk) 17:02, February 18, 2011 (UTC)

New Picture needed[]

The current one is inaccurate to the current Fallout Universe.

Willow?[]

Wtf is the Battle Of Willow Beach? The page has been created 6 times by some wannabe Troll. Trolly Polly Olly 12:14, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

It's apparently mentioned in the official game guide, and until a little bit ago was linked on this article. I unlinked it to help prevent further spam creation until such a time as someone who knows something about the battle can create the page properly. --Kris User Hola 12:23, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

Difference between tactic and strategy ?[]

Hello, I just wanted to point out that the marked result is actually the contrary... The First Battle of Hoover Dam is clearly an NCR tactical victory, as they pushed them out of the Dam with minimal looses, and that Caesar, well... Burned Graham. However, the long-term strategy is a defeat, as neither the Republic nor the Legion could assume a perfect place in the Mojave. In fact, the Strategic victory depend ONLY of the Courier's decisions. So no, we should just write : "NCR Tactical victory", and if you want to add : "Strategic draw" --81.48.149.16 18:47, February 25, 2013 (UTC)

Infobox casualties[]

Can we please drop this topic, having to deal with the same copy & paste from previous revisions every other week sure is getting an issue.
All that info is already in the main body of the article, it just clutters the infobox, especially when using full sentences.

Furthermore, there are five soldiers with the RGR rank listed on the Boulder City memorial, so listing four rangers doesn't make any sense at all.
Not like those five RGR ranks are particularly meaningful, as there has been at least one ranger who contradicted himself on his rank within the NCR army.

I'm really starting to get a hard time assuming good faith here, as the same content gets re-added by the same two accounts over and over.
Despite the fact, that both users have been given explanations and reasons as to why not to re-add it.

Here is hope that we can come to a compromise of sorts and settle the issue in some way.
