Distress Signal Bug?[]

The distress signal coming from the ham radio never was available for me to tune to. The only reason I know about it is by reading this page. PC/steam player here.

I was sent here as an escort for a BoS squire.

regarding "Notes • The Commonwealth knows several more locations of Fallon's department store, but none of those are accessible. "

What does this mean? Poor grammar/translation from ... ?

Shopping baskets and coathangers are notable loot?[]

Why on earth are shopping baskets and coathangers listed in the notable loot? You can find them all over the place, they break down into steel and plastic, and they aren't used for quests or turn-ins or anything. Not what I'd call noteworthy. Fusion cores, stealth boys, I get those, but these things are both useless and a dime a dozen. Felice Enellen (talk) 18:44, December 26, 2016 (UTC)

They appear in unusually large quantities, see notable loot policy. SierraX (talk) 20:37, December 26, 2016 (UTC)
Hmm, fair enough. This is why I ask instead of just deleting. :) Thanks for the explanation. Felice Enellen (talk) 22:47, December 26, 2016 (UTC)
Anytime. SierraX (talk) 23:12, December 26, 2016 (UTC)

Appearances[]

What about the underground store in Diamond City, shouldn't that be mentioned too?--Tacticamente (talk) 21:54, January 7, 2018 (UTC)

Technically no, it's Fallon's Basement, and wasn't part of the original chain. It is owned by a descendant of the original, but is not one of the original locations. Rebel427 ~ I'll be your huckleberry 00:53, January 8, 2018 (UTC)

Behind the scenes[]

It's possible that Fallon's is also named after Frank Fallon, who did public announcements for a variety of Boston sports teams, including baseball games at Fenway Park. OfclGreggs (talk) 23:23, June 27, 2020 (UTC)
