Whats the point of this encounter? I just got it, so i searched it on Fallout Wiki to make sure that there werent any secret weapons I would miss, to find out that this encounter is extremely rare... but completely pointless???

It's an Easter Egg. The brahmins are speaking English, not every Special Encounter has a secret item.

but even the caravan brahmin speak english. And other than the caravan brahmin, ive never actually seen a brahmin.

wasnt there a guy in the original fallout (like in junktown or something) that said the same things that ed from fallout 2 supposedly says? ive never played fallout 2 and yet i remeber seeing that line
