Yeah I'm not going to fault Kate for taking initiative but I wish a move back to them being merged had been discussed first. We talked about this on Discord for a bit, but the wiki is somewhat inconsistent with what pages are split and which pages are not. I think a good standard would be if the location is renamed, then we split it between the old version and the new version. 76 isn't like any other game in the series, and we should take into account the fact that there's literally no way to access the old ATLAS Observatory. Fort Atlas was built on top of the old observatory, even though they occupy the same space, they're not the same thing. So I would argue for them being different pages. Plus, the current page with both versions being merged feels very bloated and may confuse a reader. IMO, before Steel Dawn and after Steel Dawn is a very easy distinction to make, and it resolves the issues with notable loot and layout. AllYourFavorites! (talk) 21:48, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

Weren't we supposed to actually have a discussion on how to proceed on this before doing anything with it? Since this effects so many more pages than just this there needs to be a discussion on why and how to do things. I had suggested we ask people who aren't editors to take a look and tell us what makes more sense since this is supposed to be for the reader and not for us, but I was either brushed off or ignored on it.
