Shawn was a friend of Scott "Scoot" Conroy and a ghost hunter before the Great War.
Background[]
On September 24, 2077, Shawn went with Scoot to hunt ghosts at an abandoned house in Harpers Ferry. They brought a General Atomics BS7 transistor radio, which Shawn described as a perfect "ghost phone." While investigating, they kept hearing the word "church" repeated over and over through the radio. While Scoot saw this as a clue to stake out the sunken church, Shawn was skeptical and believed that they may have just tuned into local religious stations.[1]
Ray Gary, a friend of Scoot, was also familiar with Shawn. In the final days of his life, Ray hallucinated visits from his friends and family, including Shawn.[2]
