Roof House was one of the many student gangs operating in Morgantown before the arrival of the Responders after the Christmas Flood in 2082.
Background[]
After the Great War, students from Vault-Tec University formed into various groups, mostly along fraternity lines, and fought among themselves for supplies and control of the city. Most of these groups either died from radiation poisoning, or were killed by or absorbed into larger groups.[1]
Eventually, Roof House emerged as one of the two dominant gangs of Morgantown. The gang controlled the monorail system penetrating the city and the upper floors of highrises, as well as rooftops of the Morgantown landscape. Roof House actively sought to eliminate its rival, the Street House.[2][3] They were better equipped than Street House and, although they faced RadAway shortages, still held the upper hand.[4] By the time the player character reaches Morgantown, the gang has already ceased to exist.
