Restore Vault 15 power

Restore Vault 15 power is an unmarked quest in Fallout 2.

Quick walkthrough[]

Rebecca mentions that no one has been able to restore power to the lights in Vault 15. When you manage to enter, you realize that the entire Vault is in complete darkness.

Detailed walkthrough[]

You need to enter the second floor of Vault 15 and then use the Science skill on the power generator (left side of the floor). A note will show up "There must have been a short in the system at some time. The emergency ciruit breakers kicked in, but fused in the open position. You may be able to free them up and restore power." Then use the Repair skill check on the generator and you will be able to repair it.

After you successfully repair Vault 15's generator, power will be restored and all lights will come on. You will get the next message "You manage to break the contacts loose and restore power!".
