The radscorpion poison gland is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
It is a poison gland taken from the tail of a radscorpion.
With only 1 weight and a value of 25 caps, radscorpion poison glands have a very high value-to-weight ratio, higher than any other item short of certain unique or quest-related items (and weightless items). Because radscorpions can be found all over the Mojave Wasteland (though less commonly in urban areas), they provide a reliable way of making caps throughout the game.
Uses[]
- Silver Sting, antivenom, tremble, and hydra require poison glands in campfire crafting.
- Ruby Nash will use them to produce radscorpion casseroles free of charge after the completion of My Kind of Town.

- Red Rock drug lab - Two glands can be found atop a table in one of the small trailers, sitting beside various drugs and two bags of flour.
- On radscorpions beneath the Goodsprings Cemetery.
- Many radscorpions can be found east and north of the Mojave Outpost.
- Many radscorpions are present in Camp Searchlight.
- Up to three of each type fight at the Thorn.
Notes[]
The poison glands in Fallout: New Vegas differ from those in Fallout 3 by being less shriveled and desiccated. The Fallout: New Vegas poison glands are more plump and smooth.
