Project: Hare was dedicated to the acquiring of deceased human specimens for Big Mountain experimentation. The acquisition details of such were controversial in nature and allegedly involved liquidating non-military targets.
These rumors were profusely denied by the test supervisor, Dr. Adam Figgis, along with similar rumors surrounding its sister project, Project: Burke. The acquisition choices made for both projects were professed by Dr. Figgis to be caused by "budget cuts."[1]
