The .50 MG primer is an item that is required for crafting .50 MG rounds and rockets. Normal .50 MG rounds can be broken down and used to craft custom hand loaded .50 MG match rounds.

- This item, along with others like it, can be bought at the Gun Runners kiosk outside the New Vegas Strip. It can be purchased at high levels from vendors by itself, or in boxes of 25.
- With the Lonesome Road add-on installed, merchants will sell rockets that, when disassembled, will provide primers.
