The Pip-Boy was an item that was set to appear in the canceled Fallout movie.
Background[]
In the Fallout film treatment, Hero's Pip-Boy is used on two separate occasions. The first is during the ride in Max's ATV, in which he chronicles the wastes, and how it is harsher than he ever imagined, in order to share this with Vault 13 upon his return.[1]
In Dekker's club, Hero continues his chronicle, especially focusing on the predicament that Dekker had put him, Female Officer, Max and Scholar in.[2]
Characteristics[]
The Pip-Boy is described as a video micro-recorder, rather than a personal computer as it is in the games.[1]
