Pat was a recent hire at the company and a surprisingly efficient mechanic, to the point where Manager Jarrett Delgado had run out of jobs for him and wanted to send him on a search for "headlight fluid" just to keep him busy. Although he appreciated the downtime and long lunches with his family, Pat became suspicious of the company's extremely light workload. Jarrett assured him that it was because of the care for the employees' well-being, and that CEO Thomas Glen considered worker health more important than profits.[1]
