Background[]
Paige publicly accused Ruby of stealing caps from their personal stash, admonishing Ruby on the Disciples' public terminal, which, because Ruby is illiterate, she could not read.[1] The rumors got to their leader, Nisha, and the thought of Ruby both stealing from the Disciples and getting caught while doing so greatly angered Nisha. However, without any concrete proof aside from the claims put forth by Paige (a known Jet addict), she decided to not do anything, instead choosing to wait and see how it played out.[2]
