Dr. Owen Dade (employee ID 12-4-22-13-23-26-23-22) was an employee of the Bysshe Company at the Harpers Ferry tunnel before 2104.
Background[]
Stationed at Bysshe's natural gas pipeline facility in the Harpers Ferry tunnel, Dade was critical of the company's new alphanumerical decryption systems.[1] Due to his assignment inside the facility, Dade survived the Great War and was even initially unaware of the destruction, later remarking on his belief in their assured survival thanks to the facility's ample supplies and systems.[2]
However, he did not predict the rapid growth of strangler vines inside the facility, and also did not believe Mel would be able to curb them.[3] Ultimately, he was sickened by the herbicides which Mel added to their water supply and died alongside the rest of the facility's occupants.[4][5]
