The New Amended Espionage Act is an act of Congress, created to supersede the Espionage Act of 1917 in Title 50 of the United States Code. It was designed to give the United States government and its respective law enforcement agencies the tools needed to prevent interference and insubordination with military operations, and curtail support of enemy powers on American soil.
Examples of use[]
- The Vault Dweller's Survival Guide, an official Vault-Tec documentation, contained information directly affecting national defense. As such, the New Amended Espionage Act was used to prosecute any revelation of its contents to unauthorized persons.[Non-game 1]
- The Warrington station containment door separating Tenpenny Tower from the metro network below (as an emergency measure) contained a disclaimer prohibiting unauthorized use, subject to a fine of $500.00, and possible imprisonment.[1]
