Although labeled a transistor, the item visually resembles and the designations refer to a real-world 6-volt octal (8 pin) vacuum tube. The designations of "6AC7" and "6Ж4" refer to two equivalent vacuum tube types in the North American RETMA tube naming convention and the Russian tube naming convention in Cyrillic, respectively.
