Matthew "Matty" Johnston was a personal trainer who resided in Vault 51.
Background[]
Matthew was used by ZAX 1.3c to engineer discord and strife between Joel Chambers and his wife, Elizabeth Chambers. An innocuous suggestion to look after Elizabeth's health led to an affair between the trainer and the state senator's wife.[1] The affair came to a head next year, in August 2078, when Elizabeth strangled Joel's lover, Carmen Greene, Matthew killed Elizabeth and Joel shot Matthew before dying himself.[2][3]
