Lincoln's repeater paint is a weapon skin for the lever action rifle in Fallout 76, introduced in the Fallout 25th Anniversary Bundle for the Prime Gaming loot service.
Characteristics[]
The Lincoln's repeater paint adds gold engraved patterns to the lever action rifle's receiver, resembling those on Lincoln's repeater from Fallout 3. The lever and hammer are given a lighter shade of gray and the barrel is toned with a slightly rusted finish.
Notes[]
- Although the promotional image for the skin depicts the rifle's furniture as fully retextured, similarly to the Pioneer Scout paint, the weapon's stock and forearm are not retextured in gameplay. However, they are given a slightly lighter shade of wood.
- The metal band at the front of the forearm is also shown with a gold finish in the promo, however, in-game it appears as the default gray.
Behind the scenes[]
The receiver engravings on the rifle are a reference to the customized Henry repeating rifle that was presented to President Abraham Lincoln in 1862 by the New Haven Arms Company. A replica of this rifle was recreated in Fallout 3 as a usable weapon.
