Kessle recorded a number of incident reports via holotape, including nervous breakdowns from the staff and a violent encounter between a biting patient and one of the nurses.[2] Like other hospital administrators, he escaped scrutiny with no charges pressed against him following the exposure of the asylum's poor conditions and its subsequent closure.[3]
